made $33

Took our cans back and made $33...was suppose to be $32.70 but the guy gave us $33 so not complaining.

In our state we get 10 cents back on all soda cans/bottles etc. we also collect them when are walking makes a few extra $ a year so money went into my tin but haven't decided what I'm doing with the money yet...probably just just go into savings but have till december to decide

    Back in the 90s (recycling wasn't quite the norm then), there was this guy I see all the time at the train station, where I used to live, that picks up bottles and cans. At first I thought he was homeless or something then one day I saw him at his house near the station, it was a nice house but he had bags on the side of the drive neatly stacked full of those bottles and cans. I can only surmised that once in a while he drives down to SA to sell them.

    you have to live in SA to claim them if not and you are found out then it $100,000 fine...and they have handed a few of them out....but the extra money is nice from it
