not great results

February 6th, 2020 at 06:34 am

Well we saw the urologist today not great news it is a 9 which means he has an aggressive cancer we are booked in later in the month for a cat scan to see if it has spread then see him a eek later for treatment options...so we will see what happens, we are staying optomistic and hoping for the best but we will deal with what is dealt to us...so by end of month we will have a plan on treatment...the scan will cost us $200 but we were not waiting the 8 weeks to get it for free!!

his bed should be in the next 2 weeks so hopefully no delays there...been good at not spending money this week other than groceries and gas.

You could use this time to get informed on your husband's cancer before the scan and the treatment discussion so you don't make fear-based decisions. There's so much information on the internet - of course you have to judge for yourself what's true. Find accounts of other men who had that cancer and healed. He also could begin doing every single healthy thing he knows he should be doing but isn't. (I know we all have a mental list of things for ourselves.) Smoking? Drinking? Red meat? Not enough veggies? Sedentary lifestyle? Stress? Unforgiveness? etc.

    Prayers for your family.

Thankyou everyone..its funny but we are both really calm about it right now...we have been since we have known about it..seems weird but we just don't seem worried about it...its like "we got this just another hurdle to get over".
Lifebalance we have done research the hospital has a liason officer that you can call if you have any questions, she makes appointments etc...she is the go to person and seems really good, we are also on a forum that is men that have the cancer and their treatments and journeys...we eat healthy etc so we are as prepared as we can be for this next stage
