life sucks sometimes

February 23rd, 2021 at 04:23 am

Still no freakin house and we are over it...I just want to put everything into storage and just jump in the car and go...can't do that but want to!! so we continue to look 4 houses we have to look this week...we only have 1 week till we have to be out of here

The stress of this has made my illnesses kick into overdrive so I have been having episodes, feel so sick all the time..no energy so our diet hasn't been great as we just don't have energy...so that doesn't help and we have just been using what we have had in the house except the fresh stuff...but then it is coming to an end as our freezer is nearly empty...so will need to go back to weekly menus in a week or so....and my daughter has hurt her knee so we haven't been able to walk...and with my illness I can't walk alone....so haven't been able to destress and get out of the house...so hopefully we can move soon...get a routine and start getting back on track...and I can say I am getting quite bitchy with all the stress and not feeling good...try not to be...but can't just go and destress either...so just have to try and deal with it

Financially we have been eating more takeaway then we ever have probably 4 times a week lately....which is something we never do and it is expensive...so we are trying to cut back on that as well!!

I'm sorry you are having it so rough. I hope you find a house soon.

Really hoping you get something soon - in our state the regional areas have a massive shortage of rental properties due to people moving to the country because they can work from home wherever. Definitely if you are having more takeaway nights maybe try to find some cheap and kind of healthy takeaway foods- don’t feel guilty because you are going through so much stress right now. (Example: I had a cold at the start of the month complete with Covid test so I got steaming hot chicken and corn soup and DH got rice and an entree). Anyway I’m crossing my fingers and my toes for you!

So no house yet and we are offering more than they are asking and more than the houses are worth...will have to move by end of next week..so will work on a plan in case we don't get a house...we can't move to the country we have at least 3 doctors between 3 of us each week so not worth the extra time driving and petrol...would cost the same or more...they know there is a shortage of housing so everyone is raising their rents...fingers crossed we get one in the next few days

We eat pretty healthy even with takeaway...its just not something we eat often so to me it is expensive..probably not to most...

I hope you get something too - it would be so great if you could actually buy a place now instead of later to be able to just settle in one place.

We would love to buy but the $20,000 plus fees you have to pay upfront is what is killing us, thats why we haven't yet..probs about 18 months
